Table tennis or ping pong is a indoor sport in which two or four players hit a ball back and forth to each other with bats (also sometimes called racquets or paddles. The game is fast paced and one needs to have quick reactions. It is possible to impart spin to the ball, which makes the ball bounces to direction which is hard to predicted by the opponent. Though ping pong is also known as table tennis, the rules are slightly different than tennis. Ping pong bat is actually composed of a wooden blade covered with rubber on one or two sides depending on the grip of the player. Normally, two major grips: shakehand and penhold. I am a fan of penhold which is like the way one holds a writing instrument. It has been some time I do not play ping pong. Many think the game is just too fast or just plain "boring". Probably what they want is like to have good looking players such as Beckham in soccer or sexy Maria Sharapova in tennis games. Good thing is, some ping pong bat manufact...
